Karimah (Crafting a Fun Life) and Kiva (The Fun Foodie Mama) are the creators of the Tampa Bay Black Excellence Challenge. They are local bloggers who are known for sharing fun family-friendly activities and the best that Tampa Bay has to offer. These amazing ladies decided to team up in 2022 to issue a challenge to the Tampa Bay community to patronize as many Black-owned businesses throughout the year.
The Tampa Bay Black Excellence Challenge (Tampa Bay BEC) is a bingo challenge that provides support for Black-owned businesses. The challenge is during February (Black History Month), June (Juneteenth) and December (Kwanzaa).
Participants will use the bingo card to visit as many Black-owned businesses throughout Tampa Bay! When you've completed one row, you will achieve BINGO. Make sure to tag us in your pictures on Instagram or Facebook. Use the hashtag #TampabayBEC so we can see your posts!
